Landowner Story: Susan Benedict from State College, PA

Written by WoodsCamp

Keeping the forest land passed down to her from her grandfather healthy and thriving has always been a priority for Susan Benedict.

The land, located in State College, PA, has been in the family since 1943. While Susan has always done her best to maintain the land and protect the wildlife on it, the cost of managing the nearly 1900 acres was preventing her from doing all the habitat work she and her family wanted to do.

The Family Forest Carbon Program has changed that.
